Today, we’re announcing the acquisition of zerolens GmbH and the exciting addition of their generative AI platform, Mokker.ai, to soona. This acquisition brings powerful generative AI tools for product photography under the soona umbrella and is another step forward in our ambition to be the definitive content platform for brands.  

ABOUT MOKKER

Founded by Nik Redl and Mirko Vodegel in 2019, Mokker is a gen AI platform specifically designed for product photography and used by over 350,000 brands around the world. The Mokker team resides across the globe with employees in Austria, France, South Africa and Poland, and have already joined their new soona teammates working on the future of our content platform. 

WHAT MAKES MOKKER SPECIAL

Mokker’s unique approach to generate dynamic AI scenes for product photography is unrivaled in the space. Here’s how Mokker works:

1. Upload a product photo. Mokker will automatically remove background and analyze the shape and color profile of your product

2. Select an AI scene. Hundreds to choose from like a product flat lay, a kitchen, or a beach.
3. Add AI props. Thousands to choose from like a lamp, a beach ball, or a glass of iced tea. 

4. Generate the image! Mokker renders customized scenes as well as the associated AI prompt.

Once your asset is complete you can easily resize and export it for Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, or wherever you sell online.
